IT Support Manager in Jersey, Channel Islands

One of our prestigious clients have urgent requirement of IT Support Manager ( 12 Months Fixed Contract)

Residential Status: Has 5 years residency minimum
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months
Salary / Hourly rate: £40k (With right experience)

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of application support specialists and the operation and delivery of an effective IT Help Desk. 
  • Act as the senior IT party to identify and resolve system issues. Establish, promote, and continually seek to improve customer self-service and IT service. 
  • Establish processes, procedures and standards. Monitor and report on the availability of support services. 
  • Liaise with the business regarding appropriate service and SLA requirements. Oversee the escalation process and management of significant incidents. 
  • Provide feedback from the business to Head of IT re future business needs to assist in developing the IT Strategy. 
  • Review and evaluate new applications or existing software upgrades to determine their suitability for the business. 
  • Contribute to IT and business-wide projects and initiatives. 
  • 6 Team members will report to this position. 
Candidate from Telecom industry experience will have added advantage. Knowledge and experience in support of standard front and back office applications, IT tools, system utilities and infrastructure. Experience in delivery of IT helpdesk services is required.
