Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Information Technology discipline or closely related technical field. The successful candidate is likely to have an information services background with a proven track record of having demonstrated the key performance indicators listed above.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of a High Availability IT infrastructure architecture strategy in response to strategic requirements
- Creation, documentation and verification of strategic requirements for the use of IT in the business
- Standardising group infrastructure architecture and develop the principles and roadmaps in support of the enterprise architecture.
- Promoting and supporting the establishment and embedding of best practice in the architecture development processes.
- Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycles and end-user capabilities
- Supporting secure communication methods and infrastructure relating to data technologies and maintaining the environment based around WAN, data and ISP platforms
Key Performance Indicators:
- Expert in designing secure, reliable, supportable, and sustainable computing solutions with the end-user in mind
- Experienced in exploitation of systems architectural modelling techniques
- Experienced in ITIL processes
- Proven track record of resolving highly complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative
